Beliefs Of Buddhism
Buddhism Is a set of beliefs and practices based on the teachings of Siddartha Gauttama, now known as the Buddha.
A common belief of Buddhism is enlightenment. It is the direct result of breaking out of the cycle of birth, living, death and rebirth (samsara).
The 3 Jewels of Buddhism. The purpose of this teaching is to guide follower along the right path and help them on their journey. They are:

I take refuge in the Sangha
The 3 Signs of Being. Three characteristics of the nature of life.

Dukkha- translates to suffering. This characteristc tells you a little and too much will eventually lead you to suffering. Life has to be in the middle.

Annica- means impermanence. This charateristic simply means that nothing lasts forever. Everything is constantly changing.

Annatta- means no soul. This charateristic describes humans and that they're made of five parts which are body, feelings, feelings, thoughts, awareness and ideas. All which influence each human component by making them whole. Instead of a soul, there is a soul.
The Four Noble Truths. Four central truths to understanding Buddhism.

Dukkha happens everywhere all the time.

Dukkha is caused by greed and selfishness.

Greed and selfishness can be stopped.

The way to stop selfishness, is to follow the Noble Eightfold path.
The Noble Eightfold Path. A path to end suffering by eliminating greedines and selfishness.

Right Viewpoint- requires one to see things as they are.

Right Thought- using the human mind in an appropiate way.

Right Speech- does not cause harm to others or yourself. Only utter kindness when speaking to and about people.

Right Action- requires one to avoid any action that harms oneself or others.

Right Living- about your occupation, and that you must do it to the best of your abilities but avoid one that directly or undirectly harms life.

Right Effort- requires that one trains oneslef to avoid bad things while simultaneously doing good.

Right Awareness- requires that your mindset is controlled, so you can see things as they truly are.

Right Concetration- deals specifically with medication, so that you are capable of detaching and you will feel fulfilled and at peace.
Last but not least, Nirvana is one of the most important beliefs in Buddhism. The place itself is not possible to descibe. Literally means " to go out." Also it is to be free of yourself, to live in complete selflessness.
